Music for the heart and soul.

Welcome Friends! Just a little intro to tell you a bit about myself. I’ve played piano since the age of 3! Fifty one years later and a day does not go by where I don’t play, and for the past three years I have performed over 1100 livestream concerts on Facebook for the dance community worldwide and for anyone who decides to join as the majority of my concert posts have been and still are for public viewing.

Before Covid arrived, for over thirty years I accompanied dancers in ballet schools across Ontario, playing for classes, exams, recitals, and performances. I also released ballet class albums for all levels which have been used in over 20,000 dance studios worldwide. I feel it to be a privilege to play a small part in bringing inspiration to dancers of all ages.

I ran a wonderful adult community choir ‘The Treblemakers’ with my now (ex)wife for twelve years, including the first two years of Covid online working with The Treblemakers’. Before Covid, we performed regularly to completely sold out venues in different cities and towns every three to four months accompanied by fantastic professional musicians! A musical family who will forever remain in my heart as we had a good run and created so many wonderful memories and friendships! Some things I simply can never forget. So much love!

Once Covid arrived, l began performing the concerts for many reasons. One of the main reasons in the beginning was to bring comfort and inspiration to the choir members who were now forced to stay in their homes, and so we played and sang together via the concerts and it helped to get through some of the difficult times. Performing the concerts eventually also became part of my survival as I was relying solely on donations from the concerts for my earnings, and it was part of my healing process as I find playing to be healing.

Two years before Covid I became nearly all crippled up and my health was deteriorating very quickly with no help for my condition which at the time I didn’t realize was caused by having MCS (Multiple Chemical Syndrome) which I have also had the majority of my life but never was diagnosed until recently. Thankfully a dear friend helped me miraculously turn everything around as I had to make many changes in my diet and daily routine, Slowly I returned to complete health just before we were told that we had to cancel our week of performances due to Covid.

Upon the arrival of Covid, my health began to deteriorate once again due to what I eventually discovered was a severe allergy to a specific chemical (propylene glycol). At one point, I weighed 105 pounds (after losing 30 pounds in a few months) and could only wear 100% organic cotton as anything else caused severe rashes and other internal symptoms. I could only eat specific food which was extremely limited and that was my meal for nearly three years as well, only being able to drink distilled water. For well over a year I stood for the concerts, as sitting wasn’t an option due to health issues. It’s been a long journey but with the help of many friends, and by prayers from everyone around the world, miracles took place and only due to a miracle recently taking place that I believe that I have been cured as I haven’t had any reactions to the chemical in over three months now.

There have been many changes in my life over the past three years and especially over the last year, and as the water passing by in the stream is never the same, each day is a new day that brings lessons and things to be thankful for. I am very thankful I have Cleo beside me as she gives unconditional love each and every day and reminds me that every day is another chance to make a difference.

I have been on the autism spectrum my entire life, although never diagnosed. I consider it a gift, living on the autism spectrum, and the experiences that go with it—even though it brings many challenges.  And I feel very blessed to be given beautiful melodies each and every day to share with whoever needs comfort and inspiration. I am forever thankful to God and to the Angels, as well as to all the angels in my life who have helped me get through the most difficult transition of my life. I look forward to seeing these melodies from The Soul’s Journey Piano Series being brought to life by my dance friends through their gift and love of dance!

I wish you safe journeys always. Thank you for your support. I rely solely on my music to earn a living. As any artist knows, it’s a journey that you take on because you are compelled to. Because it is you. It is who you are. Enjoy the journey my friends, and enjoy the music! Each day is a new day to take another step towards your dreams. One day at a time. One breath……….at a time. God bless you and your families always.
